Campus Director Lorine Hill‘s staff at Fort Lewis and McChord Field (better known as JBLM) boasts a wealth of military and higher education experience. So much so, she thought it would be good to highlight her team. Although some have been with the university in other positions, they’re all in new posts at JBLM.
One Stop – Jessica Freier
Jessica Freier joined the Brandman team in September of 2014. She started working as the federal work-study before becoming a One Stop specialist at the Lacey campus. Now she works for the Fort Lewis campus. She currently has her B.A. in social science and plans to get her M.A. in psychology. Her father has been in the military for 26 years. She has moved every two to three years to a different state. She loves working with soldiers because they have some of the most interesting stories. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family or out in nature. She hopes Washington will be her forever home.
Academic Advisor – Ken Rosario
Ken Rosario served from 1984 to 2006 as active duty Army or active National Guard for a total of 22 years, most of the time in the field artillery. He has spent the last few years as human resources senior sergeant. Originally from upstate New York, Rosario has traveled extensively while in the Army but called Washington State home since was first stationed here in 1992. After retiring from the Army, he worked from 2006 to 2017 for three agencies for the state of Washington: Employment Security, Department of Licensing and the Department of Social and Health Services. He has an associate degree in computer technology from Rio Salado Community College and an associate degree in culinary arts. He earned a B.A. in organizational leadership, an M.A. in organizational leadership and an M.S. in human resources from Brandman University and is a few classes from finishing his MBA at Brandman as well.
One Stop – Niki Greene
Niki Greene joined the Brandman team back in October of 2016, working first as a federal work-study before becoming a VA work-study. She recently accepted the position as a One Stop specialist at the McChord campus. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in psychology through Brandman University and plans to continue her education following graduation. Greene is an Air Force veteran who spent all four years of her enlistment overseas. She had the opportunity to travel to more than 16 countries during that time. She comes from a proud military family. Both her father and oldest sister served in the United States Marine Corps and her husband presently serving in the Armed Forces. Greene lives in Lacey, Washington.
